Day
01
Early departure from Arusha. Drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the World Heritage Serengeti, whose golden grasslands live up to its Maasai name 'Siringet' — endless plains. Lunch at a campsite en route and game drive on the way to your accommodation. This is the land of lion, leopard, elephant, giraffe, zebra, cheetah and over 500 bird species.

02
After breakfast, a full day exploring one of the world's most iconic wildlife sanctuaries. Spend time with your favourite animals, follow the predators and settle into the rhythm of the African wild. With luck you will see all of the Big Five. Lunch at a campsite.

03
After an early breakfast, head to Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's great natural wonders. Game drive on the floor of this collapsed ancient volcano, a self-contained ecosystem — elephant, lion, buffalo, hippo and, with luck, black rhino. Lunch at a campsite in the crater, then climb out in the afternoon and return to Arusha.
