02 — Itinerary
Day
01
Morning departure from Arusha for a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park — groundwater forest, open grassland and an alkaline lake that can attract thousands of flamingos in season. Look for tree-climbing lions, elephant, giraffe, hippo, baboons and a variety of birds. Lunch box in the park, then on to your accommodation.

02
After breakfast, drive through the spectacular Ngorongoro highlands to the Serengeti. Descend into 'Siringet' and game drive on the way to your accommodation.

03
A full day in the Serengeti, exploring different areas in search of the Big Five. Picnic lunch in the park.
Day
04
After an early breakfast, leave the Serengeti for Ngorongoro. Descend 600 metres to the crater floor to see its dense concentration of wildlife, including black rhino. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day
05
In the morning, a final game drive in Tarangire National Park among elephant herds and baobabs. Return to Arusha in the afternoon.
