02 — Itinerary

02
Tarangire National Park — full day
A whole day to explore Tarangire, reaching quieter corners to watch elephant families at the river and herds moving across the savannah. A paradise for birdwatchers too. Picnic lunch in the park, then transfer to the Manyara area for the night.

03
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, visit Lake Manyara National Park — groundwater forest, open grassland and an alkaline lake where flamingos gather. Look for tree-climbing lions, baboon troops, elephant herds, hippos, monkeys and abundant birdlife. Lunch in the park, then transfer to the highlands.

Via Ngorongoro Conservation Area → Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, cross the conservation area to the Serengeti through landscapes where the Maasai live alongside wildlife. Descend into 'Siringet' and game drive on the way to your accommodation.

Serengeti National Park — full-day game drive
A full day in the Serengeti looking for the Big Five and, depending on the season, the Great Migration. With a picnic lunch you can spend the whole day in the bush.

06
Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
After breakfast, descend into Ngorongoro Crater to complete your Big Five, including black rhino. Lunch at a campsite in the crater, then return to Arusha.
