Into the heath zone. About six hours.

Acclimatisation day at Horombo
Hike to Zebra Rock and back to acclimatise.

Horombo → Kibo Hut (4,703 m)
Across the alpine desert. About six hours.

Summit Uhuru Peak → Horombo
Midnight start for 5,895 m. Descend to Horombo for the night.
